Nursing Procedures at the Health Center
At the Health Center of the Kaarti Pharmacy, we offer a comprehensive range of minor procedures performed by a nurse. The nurse’s office is open at on the first Tuesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check the appointment calendar for available times!
Our pharmacy's Health Center features its own cozy, soundproofed space for services, which enhances privacy and comfort when you come in for an appointment.

Do your ears feel blocked? Has your hearing deteriorated, or do you feel pressure in your ear? Earwax buildup in the ear canal can cause your ear to feel blocked. In addition to a feeling of fullness, symptoms may include ringing in the ears, hearing loss, and sometimes even dizziness.
A blocked ear can be cleared at the pharmacy’s Health Point through an ear irrigation procedure performed by a nurse. Ear irrigation is a safe and effective procedure that removes excess earwax from the ear canal.
To ensure the best possible treatment results, our nurse recommends applying earwax-softening drops ( e.g., Removax, available at pharmacies) to the ear at least two hours before the procedure, but preferably the night before.
If you're not sure whether ear irrigation is right for you, a nurse at the pharmacy's Health Point will assess your situation and advise you on further treatment if necessary.

The patient brings the medication with them or purchases it at a pharmacy before the procedure.

Any necessary medical supplies are not included in the price. The customer must purchase a tick remover or tick tweezers from a pharmacy.

Fingerstick blood sugar testing at the pharmacy's Health Station. Testing is available when a nurse is on duty, which is on the first Tuesday of each month.

Blood pressure measurement at the pharmacy's Health Point.

The instruments used to remove stitches are included in the price.
The customer should bring any wound care supplies they need or purchase them at a pharmacy.

MMSE Memory Test
The Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) is a brief assessment, often referred to as a “mini-test,” designed to evaluate memory and information processing. It takes 10–15 minutes to complete.The MMSE is easy to use and well-established for general use, and it provides an easily documented numerical score. It is suitable for screening and monitoring memory disorders at an advanced stage of dementia.
